Crimson had never been so excited to get out of his dormitory in the morning. He had been learning the basics of flying from Tal Mishna for just over two weeks now and today was the day he’d finally progressed to combat training. Which meant he needed armour, boost armour to be specific. The school provided him with an allowance to purchase his kit, but he’d done some research and realised the Triple M boost armour was much more than the 350 credits he had received, so he saved up an extra 150 to make the difference. His 125-credit weekly pocket money from the school was more than he ever got working two months at Sen-Egnatia, so it wasn’t difficult to save up. He set a course for the main shopping centre in Radion and flew there with gleeful haste.

Weaving and bobbing through commuters and travel pods with such ease, he couldn’t believe how bad his flying was when he first arrived compared to how it was now. However, his skills were about to be put to the test as he approached an octagonal glass building surrounded by what looked like a swarm of bees from a distance. There were Ki-Patrians of all ages and shapes going in and out of the building from the many entrances it had. Crimson managed his way through the crowd and eventually got inside where somehow it was even busier. A throng of people were ascending and descending the concave octagonal hall coming in and out of shop entrances which were stacked vertically on top of each other. Crimson had never seen anything like it…
