Even though it was getting dark they managed to retrace their steps from the morning back to where they lived. They saw a large sign saying ‘CORBIS 52’ but nothing about a devoreum.

‘It’s got to be here somewhere,’ uttered Nisbah as she searched around. The others joined her. Crimson used Darwin to check for signs of life and the scan picked up a mass of bodies far to the left of where they stood. Upon investigation they spotted large dome-shaped bunker with one door leading underground, hidden by grass and foliage. They wouldn’t have spotted it without help. The outside of the bunker was almost completely covered in leaves and branches with missing posters all over it.

‘Something’s not right here,’ Ronan said ominously, which made Nisbah feel even more agitated. She ran towards the entrance which immediately slid open and leapt down the stairs shouting Zeik’s name. The others quickly followed and what was a dimly lit staircase before radiated with blue lights as they entered.

The basement wasn’t enormous but had around 20 beds similar to the one Marx was in when she was in a coma. Most of them were empty.

‘Zeik! Zeik where are you!’ Nisbah shouted, moving frantically from bed to bed looking at each face until she saw one and screamed. An old thin man with long balding hair sat up from the bed.

‘What’s the need for all this noise?’ he shouted at a quivering Nisbah. ‘Don’t you know…
