Crimson Hail and the Secrets of Valour — Chapter 1.a : Family dinner
The Hails were known to be a family of overachievers. Abna and Waheed had been branded with the ‘power couple’ title on numerous occasions for the ground-breaking invention they called, the ‘Hail Dome’. Alarge dome-shaped forcefield that regulated the temperature of the area inside it. Their eldest child Magenta, from her youth had the ability to solve incredibly difficult mathematical equations with ease. Fuchsia, their second child, followed in the footsteps of her parents and excelled in the field of biotechnology. She became one of the first scientists to successfully create a meal from synthetic meat at an affordable price. The Hails were such overachievers. They all excelled in their field of expertise, all except Crimson.
Crimson, the last-born child of the illustrious Hail family couldn’t help but feel adopted at times. He had no interest whatsoever in becoming a scientist like his parents, nor a mathematician like his sister. Crimson saw himself as a creative. He had interests in music; art, and theatre, but found it difficult to stick to one thing for a long period of time. He often jumped from one passion to the next–wherever inspiration hit, which his family never really understood.
